These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 1.Travel App website at 1travel.app and the related web and mobile application (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by TechProConsult Limited, a company registered in England & Wales ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Data controller
TechProConsult Limited is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. You can contact us at privacy@techproconsult.com.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and authentication identifiers (e.g. Google sign-in ID).
- Profile & preferences: display name, language, currency, travel preferences.
- Trip content: destinations, dates, itineraries, saved places, journal entries, accommodation and transport bookings, notes and uploaded images.
- AI interaction data: the prompts you send to AI features and the responses generated.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, approximate location (from IP), session and crash diagnostics.

- Communications: messages you send us (e.g. support requests).
3. How we use your data and lawful bases

4. AI features
Some features rely on third-party large-language-model providers (e.g. Google, OpenAI, Anthropic) accessed via secure gateways. The content of your prompts is transmitted to these providers solely to generate a response. We do not authorise providers to train their general models on your prompts where opt-out controls are available, and we configure our integrations to use enterprise / non-training endpoints where possible.
5. Sharing your data
We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:
- Sub-processors who host and operate the Service (cloud hosting, database, authentication, AI gateway, email delivery, error monitoring).
- Payment processors only if and when paid plans launch in the future and you choose to purchase one. No payments are processed today.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting, insurers) under confidentiality.
- Authorities where required by law, court order or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of our sub-processors are located outside the UK and EEA (for example, in the United States). Where personal data is transferred internationally we rely on adequacy decisions (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable) or Standard Contractual Clauses / the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with supplementary technical and organisational measures.
7. Retention
- Account & profile data: while your account exists and up to 24 months after deletion for legal and security purposes.
- Trip content: while your account exists; deleted on request or on account deletion.
- AI interaction logs: typically up to 30 days for abuse prevention and quality.
- Technical logs: up to 12 months.
- Billing records: 6 years (UK tax law).
8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing;
- not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@techproconsult.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority:
- UK: Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk
- EU: your local Data Protection Authority.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for databases and backups, access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password and enable any available account protections.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Automated decision-making
AI-generated itineraries and recommendations are suggestions only. They do not produce legal effects on you and you remain in control of every decision. We do not use solely automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 UK/EU GDPR.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email before they take effect.
